I finally figured out how to post my picture in my profile. I look as goofy as ever but at least I figured out how to do it. It took me a while to figure out the placement, etc. This is starting to look more like my own little home on the web now. G'night all.

I saw your comment on my blog today. I didn't know that my page appeared on some search engine :-). Couldn't find it in Google or MSN. But I did manage to find your article on www.chowk.com.
I was somewhat disappointed by my Allahabad visit this time. The city is getting worse by the day. I remember the place for it's greenery. Now trees and green areas are being cleared to make way for apartments and shopping complexes... really sad.
Coming back to your blog and your article on www.chowk.com; I must say, you are a good writer. I've always been an admirer of Urdu poetry, it's a different story that I dont remember any couplet/poem. And thankfully I can both read and write Urdu ;-).

Yes, Allahabad is like an imposter now. Someone who bears the same name but has no more than a passing resemblance to the real thing. Sad.
